Lucy’s story
“I was confident of my choice to become vegetatrian and had always been fairly
sure of what my body needed. Now I look back I was lethargic, had aching muscles and little stamina.
I also suffered with terrible PMT which took up two weeks of the month.
After taking part in the Common SENSE Diet and finding out that I really needed to eat red meat
everything has changed. My PMT is down to one, maybe two days, but incredibly manageable and
non-disruptive now and anxious swings in blood sugar levels are a thing of the past.
My energy has increased hugely and I'm actually enjoying exercise rather than dragging myself through it.
My ability to concentrate has improved and I'm feeling very trim thank you very much.

really is no overstatement to say that I am amazed at just how much better I feel in such a short period of

Suzie’s story
Medical History:
M.E. (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and Fibromyalgia sufferer for over 12 years.
House bound for nearly 4 years. Unable to work for 10 years. Past:
Severe IBS, 50% energy levels (on a good day only!), blocked sinus’s, constant mouth, ulcers,
regular sore throats requiring antibiotics, Frequent migraines. Now:
IBS under control (wheatgrass is great stuff!), sinus’s greatly improved, mouth ulcers
and sore throats gone completely, 90% energy levels (now working full time) ‘Doing the course was an utterly life
changing experience. It has enabled me to feel normal and lead

Story
“Just want to say big thank you for the course you ran in
Leamington in January 2007! I know you really had your work
cut out when you took me on. I remember going through the list
and saying but I have all of those symptoms. Cravings, severe
food intolerances, constant hunger, insomnia, fatigue, unable
loose weight like I used to despite trying every diet etc!
But wow! What a difference by week four! I
feel like I have got back my old self, as energised as I was
in my 20's, tranquil sleep (unbelievable!!), clarity of
thought, glowing skin, lost weight and have a total feeling of
being empowered. I will never again under estimate the power
of food! I really thank you from the bottom of my heart, you
made the course so interesting and inspiring plus your
enthusiasm was clearly very infectious!!
The great news is that 6 months on I am still following the
fantastic principles you taught me and still working my way
through the recommended book list. Its a great feeling to feel
in control of my body and hormones instead of them controlling
me. I very much appreciate all the support too from the rest
of the team at Common Sense, Caroline and Simon, they both
took a lot of time to advise me too on some of my issues
regarding intolerances.
So thanks all again for helping me get started on my
journey aspiring for fantastic health, I have learnt so much
and the only hunger I have now is for more knowledge on
nutrition!!! I just love it!”

Sharon’s story
“Hi, I’m Sharon Thomson, and I just wanted to share with you a little of my story and why it is that I’m so passionate about Personal
Nutrition and EFT.
After suffering with debilitating IBS and other illnesses for years that left me with low energy levels, extreme tiredness, skin problems and depression,
I was treated with conventional western medicine and entered a cycle of desperation that left me searching for alternatives.
Following on from trying the usual routes of complimentary therapies such as acupuncture which did help to support me, yet didn't
solve the problem. So, after reading many contradictory books on health and nutrition, I met my mentor, Malcolm Innis, and
embarked on a Personal Nutrition Course which helped me to understand how eating the right foods for my body could lead to
optimal health and energy. Additionally, I discovered EFT and it helped me to gain a sense of greater well-being, as well
as greater will power when the going got tough!
Fully cured, I now have boundless energy, clarity of mind, and a new found confidence! As a result, I trained in Personal
Nutrition and EFT and I’m now on a mission to share this knowledge with others by helping them to transform their health
through Personal Nutrition and EFT.“
